The Malaysian Piano Competition welcomes participants of all nationalities.
In addition to the Open Category, we are pleased to introduce the new Young Artiste and Young Artiste Junior categories in 2021.
All categories have three rounds: An Online Preliminary, Regional Preliminary Round and Final Round.
The Young Artiste Categories aspires to identify and discover the next generation of artistes who demonstrates exceptional talent and artistry in their performance while the Open Category aims to celebrate music achievement at all levels by allowing non-professional performers of all levels and ages to participate.
Please note that participant’s Age Group is determined by the year of birth, regardless of month.
Prizes are awarded based on a point system.
