2024 Competition format:
Preliminary Round & Online Submission Assessment Period: Sept – October 2024
Both the Live and Online option is available for the Preliminary Round. Participants can choose to perform live at the Preliminary Rounds offered in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru & Kuching, or to submit video recording.
Final Round: 23 – 24 November, 2024
The Final Round of the Malaysian Piano Competition 2024 will be held at Sunway University, Bandar Sunway.
2024 Competition Period
- Live Preliminary Round application deadline: 15 Aug 2024 (11.59pm)
- Online Preliminary Round application deadline: 31 Aug 2024 (11.59pm)
Video link needs to be submitted together with the registration form. - 31 Aug – 1 Sept: Hong Kong Preliminary Round
- 8 Sept: Jakarta Preliminary Round
- 14 – 15 Sept: Kuala Lumpur Preliminary Round I
- 5 Oct: Johor Bahru Preliminary Round
- 12 – 13 Oct: Kuala Lumpur Preliminary Round II
- 19 – 20 Oct: Kuching Preliminary Round
- By 15 Oct 2024: Announcement of Online Submission Results
- By 23 Oct: Deadlind of registration for the final round
- 23 – 24 Nov: Final Round at Sunway University, Bandar Sunway
