Q: Do we need to pay any entry fees for the Final Round?
A: No.
Q: Are all Gold Prize Winners automatically registered for the Final Round?
A: No – you are required to re-register for the Finals. A coupon code and link to the online registration form will be provided to all gold prize winners at the prize giving for the regional.
Q: I am selected as a finalist, but I cannot make it on the competition day – what can I do?
A: Sadly, your performance slot at the Finals will then be forfeited.
Q: If I get selected for the Final Round, do I have to play the same piece I played for the Preliminary Round?
A: No, you are allowed to change the repertoire.
Q: I have decided to change my piece, can I do that?
A: Yes you can. However, a change fee of RM50 will apply for each repertoire change requested after submission. Repertoire changes can only be accepted up to four weeks before the finals.
Q: Do I get travel/accommodation reimbursements to attend the final round?
A: No, All participants are responsible for their own expenses (travel, housing accommodations, etc.)
