Since 2013 Euroasia has organized competitions to celebrate and identify young talent at various stages of their musical development on various instruments. These events provide an invaluable platform for young musicians to perform and compete at a high level, giving them experience and exposure that will better equip them for future undertakings in their musical journey.
In the recent years there has been a healthy growth of festivals, competitions and other events, though many of these tended to happen in or around Kuala Lumpur. After numerous requests and suggestions from musicians and teachers in Sarawak, Euroasia introduced the first of the Regional Piano Festivals to Kuching, Sarawak in 2016.
In 2017, in addition to the Sarawak Piano Festival, two more festivals were initiated in partnership with two prominent organisations: The Johor Society for the Performing Arts for the Johor Bahru Piano Festival, and MYOF for the Kuala Lumpur Piano Festival.
The response from these festivals were so promising and propelled us to follow with three more additional regions in 2018: the Penang Piano Festival – in collaboration with MYOF, and the Kuantan and Negeri Sembilan Piano Festivals.
